How are you girly girls? I’ve been extremely busy these past few weeks, hence the silent treatment. I’m really sorry about that!
Anyway, back to business! Has any of you had the chance to go to Coachella last weekend? Or will you go next weekend? I only had the chance to see pictures of the epic festival. It looked pretty cool. The fashion was also on point… Bohonpoint (hahaha – Did I mention I was tired? Did I? I’m tired.)
Now, it’s time to get ready for next weekend. So, let’s go on with the InStyle SS16 trends: New Bohemian.
How have you been? As promised, in this post I’m going to tell you the different ways you can style the flared jeans.
I have a confession to make. I am a huge (like huuuuuuuuuuuuge) fan of Charlie’s Angels (FYI, I was a Kelly Garrett :D). I love everything about that show: the girls were smart, and strong; Bosley was funny; their friendship was awesome; … and of course, the fashion was on point 🙂 Why am I talking about this iconic TV show? Well, simply because I guess it’s one of the reasons that flared jeans are (one of) my favorite piece(s) of all time! So, as you can imagine, I’m thrilled and super excited about the 70’s revival that we have been experiencing since last season.
This week, several looks from our favorite fashionistas caught my attention. And all of them are quite easy to copy, so thank you Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, and Sarah Hyland to give us actual, reachable inspiration!
The first outfit is from Emma Roberts, who mastered the airport look like a pro. She rocked an all black look, a black and white striped scarf and added a touch of color with a beautiful red Longchamp bag. Check out also the Balenciaga shoes!!!! Love it!
How have you been? You know I told you last week that I went shopping and that I found bought 2 lovely pieces. Well, in this post I will show you this second item.
I bought a maxi skirt, also from Kocca. When I saw it, I loved it immediately; but I wasn’t sure it would suit me, given that I’m quite short. Well, guess what?! It looked great, and I have to say I’m really glad about it 🙂
Check it out (I took the pictures from the brand’s website):
So I’ll make a small hiatus in the review of my favorite looks. One of the reasons is that I’m still waiting on the presentation of the new collection proposed by Mer du Nord. The other reason is that I want to tell you about a piece I bought.
I went shopping this week, and I found two pieces I absolutely love. To be honest, I found plenty of pieces I absolutely love, what I meant to say is “among the tons of beautiful items in the boutique, I only bought two pieces”.
The article I will write about today is a dress from Kocca. It’s a dress composed of two parts: a sort of mini and form hugging skirt, and a fluid and large blouse with a deep V-neck. I will wear it with a white tank top underneath, since the V-neck is like, really deep. I’m sure some women/girls would wear the dress with nothing underneath, but I wouldn’t pull it off. I’d feel a little uncomfortable. Besides, the skirt is already quite short… I don’t need to show everything 😉 As usual, I took the pictures from the brand’s website. Let’s have a look:
