All right, so November is probably one of the most depressing month ever. The days are super short, it’s getting cold and it rains way too much. Thank god for hot chocolate, right? But since I can’t only drink hot chocolate to make me forget about the oh so sad weather (who am I kidding? Of course I can but I’m an adult and I decide not to), I figured that the next best thing would be to remember some of the great trips I took to sunny places. And lately, I’ve been thinking to one of my favorite trips ever: Palo Alto. I don’t know if you know this, but I’m a nerd. So needless to say that I was super excited when I got the chance to go there and visit Stanford University. Now let’s walk down memory lane….
In September 2016, I had the chance to travel to Asia for the first time. I went to Beijing, China. And it was quite a journey! I visited the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and the Great Wall of China. Let’s relive this trip in pictures…
Sorry for the long absence, but work has been a b**ch lately and I couldn’t find a single moment to stop and write something down. I’m glad I can do it now and connect with you again after this delay 🙂
So last week I got back from an a-ma-zing journey in Japan. I started with Gifu, I went to Kyoto, and finished with Tokyo. I’ll show you some pictures of these great cities, starting with the first one I visited.
I know that if I ever have the opportunity to go back, I will jump at the chance! And if you think of going there: stop thinking about it and just go!!! You will not regret it. The people are super sweet and extremely respectful. The views are simply stunning. And you have great food. What more could you ask for?
I thought that today I would try a different kind of articles and in doing so launch a new category: Travels.
“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page”
These past couple of years, I had the chance to do some very interesting travelling – and I found out that I love, absolutely love it. I travelled by myself, and I think that made it even more special. First of all, I got to choose what I was doing every single day and I didn’t have to consult any other people. Second of all, if I had a problem I had to take care of it by myself too and I learned a lot.
The first time I travelled – far away – by myself was to California, and more specifically to the San Francisco area. For most people, San Francisco is on their dream destination list. I must admit… I was not disappointed! I took one of those tour buses, very touristy but I didn’t care because I wanted to see as much as possible and I had only one day there so I had to make the most of it. And I did!
