Tony Awards 2018: Best Dressed

Last week, the Tony Awards took place in New York and if I’m not doing a Best Dressed post, I know that my sister will be pretty mad at me (she is a huge fan of musicals and was quite happy with the Tony for best performance by an actor – she was rooting for the charming Andrew Garfield).  So here we go!

Met Gala 2017: My Top 20

Hello people,

So on Monday, the Met Gala happened.  For A-listers, this is the place-to-be.  For us, mere mortals, it is the opportunity to appreciate really extravagant fashion.  This year’s theme?  Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons.  Rei Kawakubo is a Japanese avant-garde designer.  So this promises us a  bunch of interesting looks.

The Belle of the (Met) Ball

Hey there,

Hope you’re all doing fantastic!  So on Monday was the Met Gala 2016, organized for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.  I love the Met Ball, because it really is an opportunity to see dramatic dresses and fashion risks.  At least, that’s the way I see it.

There’s a new theme every year, and the guests are supposed to dress according to that theme.  This year, the theme was: “Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology“. So, how well did they do?  Here’s my top ten (+ 1) 🙂
