How are you? As far as I’m concerned, I am pretty happy that the holidays are coming, and so are many people around me for that matter. Yes, I need a break and here are the signs. (If you recognize yourself in the following, please, take it easy!)
On Friday I went to see Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick’s last movie, namely “A Simple Favor”. I’m not about to write a movie review, although I really loved it so I highly recommend it. But instead, I want to write about Emily’s (Blake’s character) amazing sense of style.
As the movie went on, I thought: I want need to up my (fashion) game.
For me, the holidays will be in September but I need to escape a little bit – I’m almost counting the days… So, I gathered here my 6 beauty essentials, the 6 products I’ll definitely pack for my holidays. I know it’s early but it’s so exciting to think about your beauty kit, don’t you think? Besides, I’m pretty sure that some of you are leaving sooner than me (a lot of you probably already came back, sorry about that ladies), so maybe you’ll be interested in some ideas for your beauty kit. And if you’re staying at home or if you already went on holidays this summer, I still think this post can be of interest: these beauty essentials are still valid for the summer even if you stay at your place 🙂
So, a couple of weeks ago someone asked me what my dream dressing room looks like. And it got me thinking about some “famous” dressing rooms. My first memory of a dreamy dressing room is Jenna Rink’s; aka Jenifer Garner in 13 going on 30 (remember that movie?). And then, Mia’s in the Princess Diaries. And finally, Blair Waldorf’s. Just so you know the level I’m at right now.
These fabulous dressing rooms make me want to invest – some day – in a gorgeous one for myself. Even more so that I’ll probably get my own place pretty soon. Obviously, I won’t be able to afford a huge apartment right away but that won’t stop me from dreaming and imagining my perfect space for when I’m a real grown-up 😉 (wait, shouldn’t I be a real one by now?)
