The second week-end of Coachella just ended. Just like last week’s post, it’s now time to check out what the festival goers rocked during these couple of days. Oh, and don’t tell anyone but I’m kind of cheating because there are also sets of pictures from the first weekend…
Here are what some of my favorite bloggers and fashionistas wore during the second weekend of the festival: Christie Ferrari, Emelie Natascha Lindmark, Jamie Chung, Claire Rogers, Lindsi Lane, Vanessa Hudgens, and Xenia Van Der Woodsen.
Did you know it was Coachella? Just kidding, that’s all I’ve been seeing on Instagram for the past 3 days. Makes me want to be there even more… Well I can’t be there to enjoy the vibe or the music, but I can definitely enjoy the fashion.
Let’s see what the celebs and my favorite bloggers rocked during the first week-end festival, and where we can buy pieces to copy their looks 🙂
I spotted some trends: denim cut-offs, bare shoulders tops, prints, and monochrome outfits. Now, let’s have a look 😉
All right, this is it! The apotheosis: the Academy Awards 2017.
I was really excited about the winners when I listened to the radio this morning, and I was not disappointed when I watched the red carpet arrivals. One word. Stunning. And dreamy. That’s two words, I know. But it is well deserved.
What did we see? A lot of white, a lot of black and a lot of nude. Not much colors, but the ones who rocked some colors, did so beautifully. Let’s have a look at my top 10 top 15 (it is the Oscars after all, you didn’t expect me to find only 10 dresses that I love, did you?)!
Oscar de la Renta makes the news today. Three days ago, he would have turned 84 years old. Five days ago, Peter Copping announced that he would leave the brand immediately. So I thought it would be nice to get to know the late designer a little better!
Oscar de la Renta was born July 22, 1932 in the Dominican Republic and died in Connecticut at the age of 82, after a long battle with cancer. When he was 18, he travelled to Madrid to study painting at the Academy of San Fernando. How did he get into fashion? When he was in Madrid, he was enlisted by Cristobal Balenciaga to sketch for him. Afterwards, he went to Paris and worked at Lanvin; and then he moved to New York in the early 60’s and set up his own label [1,2].
This week, several looks from our favorite fashionistas caught my attention. And all of them are quite easy to copy, so thank you Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, and Sarah Hyland to give us actual, reachable inspiration!
The first outfit is from Emma Roberts, who mastered the airport look like a pro. She rocked an all black look, a black and white striped scarf and added a touch of color with a beautiful red Longchamp bag. Check out also the Balenciaga shoes!!!! Love it!
