Week – 3 for me. In 3 weeks, I’ll finally be in vacations and hopefully, by now, I will be relaxing under the sun on a beach. If you want to spend the day at the beach, the key is to make sure that you don’t forget anything at your hotel room or apartment. You have to make sure you have absolutely everything with you. Nothing more annoying than to get really comfortable and then realise that you forgot you sunscreen in your room (that’s not entirely true, I can think of a few things that are more annoying than that but I wanted to add some dramatic effect… ). So to make sure that you don’t find yourself in this unfortunate situation, here are the things I always put in my beach bag.
In less than a month, I’ll be on vacation in Dinard. I went there last year and totally fell in love with that city so we decided that we’d go back this year. I might be counting the days till our trip. And I might already be packing in my head.
Like most people, I hate packing (although the absolute worst is unpacking but that’s an whole other story); packing is always a pain but there are some easy parts: there are three things that I systematically take with me. Continue reading “Three Things I Always Pack For Trips”
For the past few weeks, it’s been super duper hot. It’s been so hot that it has been barely bearable. You know when the temperature is so high that you have absolutely zero energy? There is no fresh air, even at night, so you don’t get any sleep? And you wake up exhausted? But you still have to get up and go to work? That’s been my routine for a month.
Another tough part is: how to dress? Because all you want to do is laying down by a pool or on the beach in a bikini. But you can’t. If you want to be able to do that, you gotta go to work (as Britney would say: You want to live fancy? You better work bitch). And unless you work as a lifeguard – which I’m not – you have to dress appropriately. Now let’s see what we can do 🙂
You can play with the colours, the prints and the length: pencil skirts, a-line skirts, midi skirts and mini skirts. Pair your skirt with a button-down shirt and you’re good to go. If we don’t wear our skirts when it’s 100 degrees out, I don’t know when we will.
