How are you? Having a good time this summer? As you know, I love reading. Always have, always will 😉 A few years back, I wasn’t a huge fan of non-fiction but for the past couple of years I’ve really been enjoying this genre. So I prepared for you a particular list of non-fiction books. As you probably guessed by the title of the post, these are non-fiction books written by celebrities. In the list, there are some books I already read (and enjoyed – I read some others but didn’t them as much) and books I want to read.
I live by that motto. A typical Sunday for me looks like this: I wake up late. I go to the gym (yes, I am that courageous). I have lunch. And in the afternoon: I. Do. Nothing.
When I was a kid, I used to hate Sundays because it meant that the next day I had to go to school. So basically, I enjoyed only half of my weekend which is kind of sad when you think of it. I’m a proper bookworm. Hence, one of the things I love when I go on holidays is to lie on a lounger and read a book for hours in the sun. This makes me so happy, calm, content. And to make sure I have a good time, I have my go-to books.
Chick lit. I’m not gonna lie, this is probably my favorite genre when on the beach or poolside. I know it’s cheesy and very often quite cliché but I can’t help it, it’s one of my guilty pleasures. And I have 2 foolproof books, one of which I’ve been reading every year for the past 4 years I think. I don’t get tired of it and it still makes me laugh out loud. The other makes me dream of the Hamptons and makes me want to do yoga.
I laugh out loud. Every. Single. Time. How does it start? Rachel broke up with her boyfriend and her best friends try to teach her how to be single by making a list of 10 things she has to do. As I said, it’s funny. It’s also heartwarming. And somehow, empowering sometimes.
