Marrakech – Day 2 Photo Diary

Marrakech – Day 2 Photo Diary

Hey there,

As I explained in a previous post, I went to Morocco for a couple of days in April.  I already shared with you pictures from my first day which included a visit of the Jardin Majorelle.  Here, you can find the rest of the photos: the Koutoubia Mosque (I didn’t go inside the mosque — but the exterior was still impressive) and the Jemaa el-Fnaa market place.  I was by myself so I chose not to visit the souks since I’m directionally challenged.  However, next time I go, they will definitely be on my to-see list.

Let’s (re-)discover the red city…

Marrakech – Day 1 Photo Diary

Hey there,

In April, I got to spend a couple of days in Marrakech, Morocco.  It was a business trip, but I managed to fit in a few sightseeing sessions.  I absolutely wanted to see the Majorelle Garden, so that was the first thing I did when I got some free time.  I also went to the Koutoubia Mosque and the Jemaa el-Fnaa market place, but that will be for another post 😉

“Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé discovered the Jardin Majorelle in 1966, during their first stay in Marrakech.  […] [They] bought [it] in 1980 and saved it from falling victim to a real estate project and becoming a hotel complex. […]  Yves Saint Laurent would say he was able to find an unlimited source of inspiration in the Jardin Majorelle, and that he dreamt many times about its unique colours.” [Source: jardinmajorelle.com]

Spring Summer 2017 Sales Selection

Hello there,

How are you?  Have you already found something precious during the sales?  If not, I might be of help.  In this post, I prepared a small selection of items that you can find on sales at some of my favorite brands.  I know it’s a bit late, but look at the bright side: if you find these pieces, you’ll probably get 50% by now (ooh happy face)…

I think I only put real crushes in this post, and I organised the items by categories: you have the dresses, some skirts, pants, jackets and coats and so on.  Happy shopping 🙂

How To Wear the Spring-Summer 17 Trends? The Wallflower Edition

Hey people,

I hope you’re doing great!  Let’s continue our SS17 series, and today we’ll turn to one of our ultimate favorite: wallflower print.  The trend was seen on the Michael Kors, Balenciaga, Paul Smith, and Isabel Marant’s runway shows.

It’s a super easy trend, but oh so efficient!  You can basically sport it anywhere, anytime: work, vaycay, music festival, dinner with the family, … We love it!  So, where can we shop pieces to rock the trend?  Let’s have a look!

Coachella 2017: Second Week-End Fashion Recap

Hello there,

The second week-end of Coachella just ended.  Just like last week’s post, it’s now time to check out what the festival goers rocked during these couple of days.  Oh, and don’t tell anyone but I’m kind of cheating because there are also sets of pictures from the first weekend…
