For the past few weeks, it’s been super duper hot. It’s been so hot that it has been barely bearable. You know when the temperature is so high that you have absolutely zero energy? There is no fresh air, even at night, so you don’t get any sleep? And you wake up exhausted? But you still have to get up and go to work? That’s been my routine for a month.
Another tough part is: how to dress? Because all you want to do is laying down by a pool or on the beach in a bikini. But you can’t. If you want to be able to do that, you gotta go to work (as Britney would say: You want to live fancy? You better work bitch). June is usually the last “hellish” month at work, before the more “relaxed” (note the quotes here) months of July and August. But just because June will be tough work-wise, doesn’t mean we have to dress to match the mood. Au contraire. Let’s bring some colours. And fun prints. And statement pieces.
Are you feeling post-wedding blues? Because I am. Is it weird? As 3 billion other people, I spent my Saturday in front of the television to watch the royal wedding, and I don’t regret it for a minute – after all, I grew up watching Disney movies. Now I want the fairy tale moment to last a little bit longer so I gathered here some of the best photos from the beautiful day.
